Blues Harvest Makes a Stellar Debut at The Cluny in Newcastle

A Family-Friendly Affair with Sci-Fi Flair

On April 21st, Blues Harvest made their debut performance in Newcastle at the renowned venue, The Cluny. This early evening gig started at 3pm, creating a perfect opportunity for families to join in the fun. Geeks of all ages gathered to experience our unique blend of classic film and TV-themed music, transforming the venue into a vibrant hub of sci-fi and rock ‘n’ roll.

A Show Filled with Surprises

The event kicked off with an incredibly entertaining ‘Back to the Future’ parody puppet show by Pop-up Puppet Cinema. Their hilarious take on the classic sci-fi film set a lighthearted and whimsical tone for the evening, delighting both the young and the young at heart. The North East Legion UK brought the spirit of the galaxy far, far away right to The Cluny, with stormtroopers, imperial officers, and mandalorians enhancing the atmosphere and adding an authentic Star Wars vibe to the venue.

A Set to Remember

Blues Harvest took the stage with an explosive energy that resonated through the venue. Our 90-minute set was packed with fan-favorite anthems, from the soaring melodies of “STAR WARS” and “CANTINA BAND” to rock classics like “IMMIGRANT SONG” and “BAT OUT OF HELL.” The mix of themes kept the crowd engaged and singing along, with highlights including the adventurous “WILD WILD WEST,” the nostalgic “THUNDERCATS,” and the ever-popular “GHOSTBUSTERS.”
