Blues Harvest Release Original Star Wars-Inspired Anthem “One Way Out”

Available on all digital platforms from Wednesday 16th April 2025 via Maclunkey Records

“My name is Kino Loy. I’m the day shift manager on Level Five.”
So begins the unforgettable monologue delivered by Andy Serkis’ character Kino Loy in Andor Season 1, Episode 10: “One Way Out.” As this rallying cry stirred the inmates of Narkina 5 into rebellion, it has since inspired fans across the galaxy. It’s now a familiar sight at conventions—groups of Star Wars devotees dressed in makeshift prison gear, chanting “One Way Out” as they race barefoot through convention halls.

Now, UK-based pop-culture party band Blues Harvest are proud to channel the spirit of that moment into their first-ever original single, “One Way Out.” Inspired by Kino Loy’s speech and the emotional gravity of Andor, the song blends anthemic rock with atmospheric synth textures, drawing influence from Nicholas Britell’s evocative score. The result is a bold, cinematic tribute that captures the fire of rebellion.

One Way Out marks a new era for Blues Harvest as they begin to add original material to their already celebrated repertoire. In true Blues Harvest style, the single is backed with their rendition of the legendary “Cantina Band” theme by John Williams—reimagined in their signature cantina party style, transporting listeners straight to a galaxy far, far away.

Both tracks will be available on Wednesday 16th April 2025 across all digital music platforms via the band’s label, Maclunkey Records. The release is timed to coincide with the long-awaited return of Andor, with Season 2 premiering on Disney+ on April 22nd—a show Blues Harvest are, like many fans, eagerly anticipating.

The release also features custom artwork by Dave Kennedy, a UK-based illustrator and comic artist known for his work with Storm King Comics and collaborations with filmmaker John Carpenter. Kennedy’s artwork, inspired by the climactic “One Way Out” sequence, perfectly captures the spirit of this double A-side release.

Fans can hear both tracks live as Blues Harvest bring their sci-fi infused set to venues around the UK this spring and summer. Upcoming shows include:
🎸 Comic Con Liverpool Afterparty – May 3rd
🎸 Fab Café Manchester – May 4th
🎸 Cluny2, Newcastle – August 29th

Tickets for all shows are available now.
