Blues Harvest raised the roof at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago for Star Wars Celebration 2019!

Star Wars Celebration Chicago – multi-club bash

Star Wars fan groups have always formed a huge part of every Star Wars celebration, and as a band we’ve always wanted to perform at the fabled ‘501st Bash’ which takes place each time Celebration comes around.

Luckily for us we got something even better, as this year the 501st Legion teamed up with the Rebel Legion, Mandalorian Mercs, Dark Empire, Droid Builders, Saber Guild & Galactic Academy to host an epic multi-club bash, at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry.

So, with thanks to our friends DJ Elliot and Martin Keeler who both put our names forward, we were invited fly to Chicago to entertain a truly international audience of 3,000 Star Wars fans.

And we had a blast! The bash was everything we hoped it would be; the theme was ‘a night at Canto Bight’ so fittingly there were Casino tables and an open bar, and we had the pleasure of enjoying a set from ‘Wesley and the Crushers’ before our own performance.

We were lucky to be able to invite several guests to join us on stage, including Darth Elvis, Taylor Gray, Vanessa Marshall, Jett Lucas and David W Collins for a set that kept everyone dancing until the early hours.

Thanks to everyone who came to see us, we had a truly memorable night and hope that one day we might get the chance to repeat it!
